CL Makerspace teen camp
Tuesday, June 09
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Chairs, Tables, Whiteboard and markers, Projector, Laptop with presentation software, Laptops with limited software (for teaching) 5 days, 3 hours each
In this five-day afternoon camp for beginners, you'll turn curiosity into understanding and learn the basics behind the tech that powers the world around you. Explore how everyday objects turn digital: get to know electronic components (wires, switches, LEDs, resistors, and more), create a musical instrument you play by waving your hand, and more! The camp is designed for complete beginners — you’ll learn everything step by step through hands-on projects.
This camp is for teens in grades 6-12. All materials provided. Registration is required; sign up on the library website beginning on May 18.
Made possible by gifts to The Library Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to enhancing our library's leadership, innovation and reach through private support.
