Cooper Nez represents the next generation of Indigenous hoop dancers. Cooper Nez is Irish and Diné (Kinłichii’nii, born for the Redhouse clan). He resides in Mesa, AZ and is from Kayenta, AZ, near the foothills of Black Mesa. Cooper the Hooper has been dancing for two years and enjoys dancing for family and the community.
