Early Educator Series: Puppet Workshop

Join us as we explore early literacy through the joy of puppets! Former children's librarian, Steven Engelfried, leads this hands-on playful lecture on the benefits of puppetry in early learning, puppet tips and tricks, picture book ideas for puppet shows, and ways to adapt puppets for different age groups.
All attendees will receive a set of children's books for their classroom, an educator resource book, and a Folkmanis hand puppet! Snacks provided. Trimet tickets are available for attendees at the event to support transportation needs.
For participants interested in Oregon Registry Online credit, this is a Set One training for Learning Environments and Curriculum (LEC).
