Learn about historic practices and city infrastructure with the trees in east and west Portland! We will discuss huge implications for public health in the face of climate change. Use Urban Forestry's Street Tree mapping tools and understand what trees make up your local urban canopy. Find answers to questions like what's the most common street tree in your neighborhood? How tall is a tree in a specific park? And how much pollution can a park tree absorb in a year?
Hosted by Portland Parks and Recreation's Urban Forestry Division.
