In this presentation, green burial advocate Elizabeth Fournier will talk about natural burial, backyard burials, and other eco-friendly forms of disposition available in Oregon. She will discuss the history, regulations in Portland, and current green practices, highlighting the value of going out in green style. Participants will learn what meaningful green rituals and gatherings we can create to honor our loved ones and support our grieving, and care for the earth and future generations. Q & A will follow the presentation. Fournier has made green burial her life's work and full-time job, and is a recognized expert in the field.
