Central Large Community Room 1ADuration: 2 hrs (30 min setup / breakdown) Spanish/English (translation requested 5/8) Max 12 participants. Needs: Chairs, Tables, Whiteboard and markers, Projector, Classroom style with tables.
Join Daniel and Erika of Corazón Arts for this bilingual workshop on the art of lino printing. Using provided carved lino blocks, you will choose ink color and the design to print, and then decorate a wooden frame with acrylic paint and provided materials to display your finished work. Along the way, you will learn about the history of Mexican arts and their lasting influence on Latino culture. Come together to celebrate art as a healing practice in a space where all cultures are welcome!
Space is very limited, so please register each person in your group individually if they want to create their own art piece.
Registration opens on August 1st by 9am.
