The Death Cafe Model curates a welcoming environment that encourages participants to engage on the topic of Death with no set agenda, creating a safe and empathetic space for individuals to explore their own feelings regarding end-of-life.
Join us on August 15 to learn how to facilitate a Death Cafe. You can be part of the community network of facilitators who provide cake and conversation about death for others!
Multnomah County's Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative will be hosting this training, in partnership with experienced Beaverton Library Death Cafe facilitators. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals working in Behavioral Health Services, those who may have lived experience regarding grief or loss, and anyone who is eager to expand their Death literacy!
