Shadows From Within is a storytelling project showcasing the unheard stories of minority South Asian immigrants who immigrated to Oregon following the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act. Four speakers will share stories of immigration, refugee status, challenges and overcoming them, led by panel chair Jayanthi Raman.
This program is presented by Rasika Society for Arts of India and funded by a public programs grant from Oregon Humanities, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Oregon Cultural Trust.
