Do you have a story to share, or are you curious about the lives of those around you? Learn the essentials of video storytelling in this collaborative workshop. Over 6 weeks, participants will learn how to conduct compelling interviews, master basic filming techniques using simple equipment (like phones and external mics), and edit their footage into a polished, two-minute video highlight.
This workshop is perfect for beginners (ages 13+) and is a fantastic way to connect with your community through shared personal narratives. No prior video experience is required—just bring your curiosity and your stories! The program culminates in a celebratory group screening of all the completed short films.
Made possible by gifts to The Library Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to enhancing our library's leadership, innovation and reach through private support.
