Duration: 2 hrs (30 min setup / takedown) Max audience: 20 people
Have you been wanting to learn to felt animals? This class is for you! Join artist LeBrie Rich to learn how to sculpt wool with a felting needle. We will make a little bear so you can practice joining wool shapes and sculpting the muzzle.
You'll learn all about needle felting: what types of fibers work best, selecting appropriate felting needles for your projects and next steps to continue your felting adventure after the class ends.
Due to the use of sharp objects, this program is for tweens and teens ages 9 to 17 only.
Registration opens on July 15, 2025.
Made possible by the Harold & Arlene Schnitzer Children's Art Programs Endowed Fund of The Library Foundation.
