Teen Camp: From Wires to Wonders: Intro to Electronics

Rockwood Makerspace5 days, 2 hours each session. Equipment needed: Chairs, Tables, Whiteboard and markers, Projector, Laptop with presentation software, Laptops with limited software (for teaching) Max audience: 12
Join us to spark your curiosity and dive into the electrifying world of electronics! In this weeklong adventure, you'll uncover the secrets of electricity, build circuits from scratch, and even create your own batteries using basic chemistry. No prior programming experience needed – we'll guide you every step of the way. Get hands-on as you learn to solder and program Arduinos with circuits you design. Each day brings a new focus, and there's plenty of time for personal exploration!
All materials are provided. Grades 6-12. Registration is required; sign ups will open on June 22.
